We love the zoo lights and Calder gets so excited that we get to go at night. The lights were bold and bright and boy was it cold this year. We had smiles on our faces the whole time especially when Calder decided he was ready for bed and laid down on the ground right underneath the lights.
As we were driving home we had a BIG surprise and caught Santa and Mrs. Claus coming out of someones house leaving a party. We pulled right over and Santa was as jolly as can be. Calder was smiling from ear to ear as he got to talk to him personally and Santa asked him what he wanted for Christmas. Calder said "Shrek"
Santa said "ohh that's one of my favorites, Santa loves you and MERRY CHRISTMAS"
