What an amazing day this was for the three of us... Calder Michael Thomson was blessed and given his name. He did so well and loved all the attention of everyone wanting to hold and cuddle him that he just slept and slept. He's our little piece of heaven.
It was such a huge weekend for us. Friday was Mikey's Birthday and we had Grandma Patsy tend for us for the very first time so we could celebrate at Five All's. It was such a strange and lonely feeling not to have our little guy with us but we loved being able to enjoy some time alone. Thanks Patsy!! Saturday was packed full of prep till 3 am trying to get the house ready for Calder's big day We painted the kitchen, put up beadboard, hung and painted closet doors, re-wired the basement TV system, changed out the furnace filter, deep cleaned the bathroom, dusted, vacummed, swept, mopped, and last-but-not-least picked out some pumpkins for the front porch. (can you say procrastinate?)
