East Canyon was beautiful but we didn't get much of a hike like we wanted to. It was the big hunting weekend and about 30 min into our hike Calder started asking to go home, then 10 min later we heard 10+ rounds of gun shots and then within 2 min it started pooring rain. We figured we had plenty of signs and we better get our butts back to the car. We laughed about it... next time we'll all be wearing bright orange!
