DISNEYLAND

This day was all about CALDER and it truly was the "Happiest place on Earth" for the 3 of us this day. We loved seeing his smiles,

bursting excitement and his big eyes observing all around us. We even lucked out and got a front row seat for the parade and watched Mickey Mouse and ALL the characters sing and dance right in front of us. Calder's favorite was watching Mickey Mouse play the drums on top of the float. He also loved Lion King and hearing Simba roar.
The Magical Castle

Since I was a kid my souvenir of choice was always the biggest roundest lolly pop sucker I could find. Mikey was on the lookout the whole time to find this childhood love of mine for me. I was giggling seeing that Calder was just as excited as me about these coveted treats.

Mikey's must have was going to PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN... it was one of the very best as usual and still can't believe how real those pirates look.

An absolute favorite in Tomorrow Land was

Fantasy Land was were we headed first riding King Arthurs Carousel, storybook land canal boats, PETER PAN'S FLIGHT, Dumbo the Flying Elephant and couldn't miss the MAD TEA CUP'S Our last ride of the day was It's a Small World. Perfect way to finish it off.

Mickey's ToonTown

Calder loved ToonTown and could have run around there forever

Calder spent a lot of time running around Disneyland but also loved riding on our shoulders. These two pics of Calder are classics of him. He loves to dive backwards and hang. The other typical move he has while riding is to grab our heads and reach around right in our face to talk to us to make sure he has our full attention.

After we got our must have souvenir Calder went to town licking that lolly pop. He was chatting away but within 10 minutes the talking slowed down and we turned around to find this...
